Film Commission to Organize 2nd Edition of Saudi Film Forum in October

RIYADH: The Film Commission is making preparation to launch the 2nd edition of “Saudi Film Forum” from October 9 to 12 in Riyadh.  The event will be organized under the patronage of Prince Badr bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, and in the presence of an elite group of specialists and pioneers in the field.

The aim the forum is to empower and develop the film industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and enhance investment opportunities as well as partnerships in line with the national cultural strategy based on the relevant goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

This forum is a vital platform that includes a series of values ​​in the industry and contributes to enhancing communication between various production firms to advanced technology providers. Film financing and as well as film industry regulation will be discussed through 30-panel discussions and workshops, covering different aspects of filmmaking.

The 2nd edition of the “Saudi Film Forum 2024” comes following the success of the previous edition, which motivated the Film Commission to devote all its efforts to highlight in this edition the economic role of the growing film industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and attract an elite group of specialists in this sector.
