ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the people of Pakistan by rejecting chaotic politics, have prioritized improvements in economic policies.

The Prime Minister in a statement on the country’s political and economic situation on Sunday, said people want a reduction in inflation, economic improvement and solutions to their problems.

Shehbaz Sharif stressed the need to improve the economic condition of the people rather than focusing on filling grounds for public gatherings. He said we will hold public rallies in 2028, while now is the time to work hard to fulfill the promises made to the people of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said economic recovery can take place if there is political stability and political chaos means disrupting the process of providing relief to the masses. He added that national unity would ensure relief from inflation and a bright economic future for Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said the Federal Government will remain committed to the policy of fully supporting the resolution of public issues, ensuring equitable development and reducing inflation in collaboration with all provinces. He noted that inflation has returned to single-digit and economic conditions are improving in the country.

Shehbaz Sharif added this IMF program as the last one should be the goal of all of us and that will be the real success.
