OIC General Secretariat Condemns Attack on Hotel in Afghan Capital Kabul

ISLAMABAD: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)’s General Secretariat in the strongest terms condemned the terrorist attack on 12 December against a hotel in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul. A terrorist group is believed to have coordinated and masterminded the assault.
Numerous hotel guests were believed to have been hurt. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry five Chinese nationals included those who were injured.

Terrorists target diplomatic premises, locals, foreigners

OIC General Secretariat expressed disappointment over the outrageous incident whose attackers and fellow terrorists intended to keep Afghanistan, both locals and foreigners, unsafe and terrorized no matter what.


It expressed concern regarding the recent rise in assaults that have targeted diplomatic premises, hotel with foreigners, and civilians. The General Secretariat in its statement renewed its advice to the current administration in Kabul to put in much more effort to fight terrorist groups in Afghanistan.


The General Secretariat wished a speedy recovery of those injured.
