DUBAI: Australia all but confirmed their spot in the final four of the Women’s T20 World Cup after beating Pakistani side on Friday in what was the most dominant performance of the mega event so far.

Pakistani side, without their skipper Fatima Sana and bowler Diana Baig, were not able to mount much of an offense, scoring the lowest total of the event so far at 82 runs.
Only four Pakistani players made 10 runs with Aliya Raiz scoring the highest total of the match at 26 runs off 32 balls.
Sophie Molineux dismissed skipper Muneeba Ali after she tried to swipe it over cow corner, instead sending the ball to Litchfield’s hands. Both Georgia Wareham and Annabel Sutherland took two wickets each.

Australia have comfortably made the required 83 runs, only losing just one wicket in the match, and have 54 balls to spare. Pakistan will face New Zealand on October 14.
