ISLAMABAD: Leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter Zahid Safi has vehemently denounced October 27 as “a murder of humanity,” emphasizing New Delhi’s inability to silence the voice of Kashmiri people despite its brutal military occupation, according to media reports.
In an exclusive talk with media, the Kashmiri leader explained that it was on 27th October in 1947 when Indian forces in complete violation of the spirit of the partition plan of the subcontinent had militarily invaded Jammu and Kashmir and unlawfully occupied it against the will of the people of Kashmir.
He stressed that India’s aggressive acts will not deter the people of Kashmir unwavering struggle for self-determination. He hoped that India’s occupation of Kashmir will come to an end soon and the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir will ultimately lead to their freedom.

Zahid Safi stated that despite the deployment of unlawful Indian forces, India has completely failed to weaken the freedom spirit of the people of Kashmir and will continue their freedom movement till taking it to its logical end.
Zahid Safi expressed hope that heightened international awareness, combined with Pakistan’s firm support would pave the way for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir dispute, ultimately honoring the long-held aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
