RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces on Wednesday killed a Khwarij terrorist while another was injured during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sambaza area of Balochistan’s Zhob district, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a news release.
During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between Pakistan Army troops and Khwarij, ISPR stated. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the Khwarij.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to neutralize any other Kharji present in the area.
“Pakistan’s security forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
