CAIRO: The Arab League permanent representatives commenced an emergency meeting on Thursday to review the Israeli occupation’s ban on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fahad bin Khaled Al-Khamali is leading the Saudi delegation.
The meeting was convened to review the joint Arab response to the illegal laws passed by the Israeli Knesset banning UNRWA in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, in addition to efforts to mobilize global support to confront and repeal these laws.
