MADINAH: The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that over 58 tons of Zamzam water have been provided to visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque since the beginning of 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
In a report highlighting efforts to ensure the delivery of clean and safe Zamzam water, the officials noted that the water was shifted to the Prophet’s Mosque using around 3,348 tankers equipped with advanced technologies in order to ensure safety and prevent contamination.
Moreover, more than 23,000 samples of Zamzam water have been analyzed to verify safety and quality, adhering to the highest standards, the SPA added. The report revealed that more than 208 million drinking cups of water have also been consumed at the mosque.
These efforts also align with the authority’s vision of providing top-quality services to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques and spreading guidance globally, according to the SPA.
