RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has continued its humanitarian work in Syria and Yemen, benefiting hundreds of individuals, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The Saudi aid agency distributed 293 food baskets and 293 health kits in the Idlib Governorate of the Syrian Arab Republic. This aid benefited 1,758 individuals across 293 families and is part of the project’s second phase, aimed at providing food and health kits to those affected by the 2024 earthquake in northern Syria.
Meanwhile, the aid agency has distributed 195 winter kits in the Hadhramaut Governorate of the Republic of Yemen. This initiative is part of an emergency shelter project aimed at assisting those in need in Yemen. The kits benefited 1,170 individuals from 195 of the most vulnerable families.

This distribution is part of the broader relief and humanitarian efforts conducted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of affected individuals and communities across the world.
KSrelief has also concluded a successful voluntary medical project in the Aden Governorate of Yemen. The project, which ran from October 27 to November 3, 2024, involved a team of seven specialized medical volunteers who performed 135 successful ear, nose, and throat surgeries.
