KARACHI: Pakistan lost three wickets on 61 runs on the first day of the test match as Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against New Zealand on Monday at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena.
Changes for a test match
The home team made three changes from the previous Test, which they lost to England at the same venue by a 3-0 score. Sarfaraz Ahmed makes his first Test appearance since January 2019, while Mir Hamza makes his first appearance in four years.
Imamul Haq, the team’s opening batsman, has returned from injury. Three spinners and three pace bowlers make up New Zealand’s starting lineup for the Test. In their most recent Test series, England also defeated the visitors 3-0.
