TEHRAN: Tehran summoned a Ukrainian diplomat to protest “biased” remarks by an aide of its president over a recent drone attack on Iran, the Iranian foreign ministry said on Monday.
President Volodymyr Zelensky’s advisor Mykhailo Podoliak linked in a tweet Sunday Iranian support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with the night-time attack on a military site.
Iran said that Ukrainian Charge d’affaires in Tehran has been summoned to provide an immediate and official explanation of the statement.
It called his remarks strange and biased and said that Iran hoped such statements will not be repeated.
