WASHINGTON: Meta Platforms Facebook and Instagram were down for thousands of users in the US on Wednesday, Downdetector.com stated.
Downdetector added that over 12,000 Facebook users reported errors and around 7,000 incidents were reported for Instagram.

Reports said that Facebook’s users also faced issues with the online messaging service Messenger.
However, Meta did not immediately respond to the matter.
