RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister for Defense met with his British counterpart Ben Wallace in Riyadh on Wednesday.
According to Arab news, the two sides discussed bilateral ties and matters of mutual interest during the meeting. Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman and the UK’s Secretary of State for Defense discussed defense cooperation and ways to further enhance the bilateral ties.

Prince Khalid said that they discussed regional and international developments during the meeting. He added that they had also inked a declaration of the KSA’s intent to attend the Future Combat Air System program to further strengthen the Kingdom’s defensive capabilities and abilities.

He further said that the KSA’s defensive capabilities will be enhanced “through a comprehensive partnership” that includes joint research, production, and development projects for future air systems.
