Pakistan’s role in global sustainable development
Pakistan has been playing a key role at the UN platforms to amplify the collective voice of the Global South to promote sustainable development at the global level. Last year, in its capacity as the chair of the Group of 77 and China, Pakistan actively supported the work of the LDCs chair and Qatar for the adoption of the Doha Programme of Action for the LDCs by consensus, and its endorsement by the UN General Assembly.
