ISLAMABAD: Pakistan-born Salman Khan became the first Pakistani to pioneer six significant marathon championships under Abbott World Marathon Majors, an essential title in the history of marathon championships globally.
The six-star marathon championship medal is given to those who complete Boston, Berlin, London, New York, Chicago, and Tokyo marathons.

While participating first in Boston Marathon, Salman committed himself to winning the six-star medal.
The Pakistani-born medalist said that the medal means a lot for him and his nation, further highlighting that he would also “like to play in the Paris Olympian marathon in 2024 if possible.”
"It means a lot to me and my country as I would be the first Pakistani to achieve this milestone."
Salman Khan will become the world’s first Pakistani Six Star Finisher when he crosses the line in Tokyo.

The winner said he would like to do the Boston marathon race every year because it allows him to come across people worldwide. He also said each of the five races has something to offer.
He added that the marathon runner advised those who intend to perform in the race by saying they should enjoy running. Citizens need to remain consistent and dedicated to getting the medal in their name.
While giving the message to his fellow Pakistanis,, the Pakistani-born runner said he wants to inspire his countrymen. He went on to add that “nothing is impossible”.

The marathon championship, which took place on 5 March, was collectively participated by eleven Pakistani and Pakistani-born American and British citizens, also including five women.
