ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met) has forecast mainly dry weather in most parts of the country.
However, light rain is expected at isolated places in South Punjab and Kashmir.
Lowest temperatures recorded
The Met office recorded the lowest temperature of -07 Celsius in Leh, -03 °C in Kalam, -01°C in Rawalakot and Astore.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country during next 24 hours.
Air Quality and Weather
As per the air quality index (AQI), the air quality in Rawalpindi is 128 US AQI, 193 in Lahore, 63 in Mangla, 128 in Rawalpindi, 188 in Muridke, and 102 in Bahawalpur. In Sindh, the air quality in Mirpurkhas is 154 US AQI, 190 in Karachi, while Islamabad’s air quality stands at 129. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, air quality is 162 in Peshawar and 65 in Abbottabad.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the highest of 11 degrees Celsius (°C) temperature was recorded in Islamabad, 19°C in Lahore, 21°C in Karachi, 14°C in Peshawar, 6°C in Quetta, and 8°C in Gilgit.
