QUETTA: At least two people were killed, and eight others sustained injuries in a blast inside a vehicle in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan province on Tuesday.
The exact location of the blast is unclear; however, unconfirmed reports indicate that the incident occurred along Sultan Ibrahim Road. According to reports, the explosion in a vehicle occurred in Khuzdar that killed at least two people.

The cause of the blast could not be confirmed immediately; however, some reports suggest it was a bomb explosion.
According to the police, rescue teams reached the spot immediately after the blast. Police said the dead bodies and injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital Khuzdar, while the security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
The police have said that the deceased have been identified as Naveed Ahmed and Amanullah.

CM Balochistan condemns Khuzdar blast
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has strongly condemned the bomb blast in Khuzdar and said that terrorists are targeting innocent citizens. He vowed to foil the conspiracies to destabilize the province.
Abdul Qudous Bizenjo said that the incidents of terrorism should be strongly condemned, and they should stand united against the terrorists.
Chief Minister Balochistan has also directed to make security measures more effective in Khuzdar.
