Pakistan Air Force Successfully Evacuates Stranded Pakistanis from Sudan

KARACHI: In an arduous evacuation mission, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully brought back 259 stranded Pakistanis from Sudan, which had been in a state of conflict for several months. The PAF C-130 Hercules and Airbus, carrying 110 and 149 Pakistanis, respectively, landed at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Thursday.

According to the PAF spokesperson, the transport fleet of the Pakistan Air Force has always been at the forefront in responding to the call of the nation during natural disasters and calamities. In line with the directives of the PAF’s senior leadership, the transport aircraft conducted the evacuation mission to bring back fellow countrymen who were stranded in war-torn Sudan.

The PAF aircraft had earlier flown to Jeddah, from where they airlifted the stranded Pakistanis. The successful completion of the evacuation mission has been lauded by the government and the people of Pakistan.
