ISLAMABAD: Saudi Press Attaché Dr Naif Al-Otaibi has shared a heartwarming post on his social media account, commemorating the historic trip of Saudi King Faisal to Pakistan on May 5, 1955.
As per details, the Press Attaché shared several memorable pictures and newspapers clippings in the Arabic language of the King’s visit to Pakistan.

Dr. Naif said that King Faisal, who was a Prince at that time arrived in Karachi on May 5, 1955 and also went on to visit printing presses. He also visited ships of the Pakistan Navy in the city. King Faisal even had his breakfast on a battleship and also witnessed a horse parade in Karachi.
Furthermore, the Prince also toured the radio studios and had also held a meeting with a delegation of religious scholars during his trip to Pakistan.
Dr Naif Al-Otaibi tweeted, “King Faisal’s trip to Pakistan was a historic moment in the bilateral ties between the two countries.”
Dr Naif’s post on the social media reminded people of the strong bond shared by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The historic trip of King Faisal to the South Asian country has been etched in the memory of the people of both nations and is a testament to the deep-rooted relations between them.
