ISLAMABAD: The Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan, Per Albert Ilsaas, hosted a vibrant program at his residence in Islamabad to celebrate Norway’s Constitutional Day. The event featured a delightful blend of music and mingling, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening bilateral relations between Norway and Pakistan.
As the program commenced, attendees from both Norway and Pakistan joined together in singing the national anthems of their respective countries. The Pakistani band further enriched the atmosphere by performing traditional folk tunes, infusing the celebration with vibrant colors and melodies.
Norway’s Constitutional Day, known as Grunnlovsdagen, is commemorated annually on the 17th of May. It serves as a testament to national pride and respect for Norway’s constitution.
Growing Relations Between Pakistan and Norway
During the event, Ambassador Per Albert Ilsaas expressed his pleasure at the growing relations between Norway and Pakistan, highlighting the significant contributions made by Norwegians of Pakistani origin to the Norwegian economy. The ambassador also extended a warm welcome to all guests attending the Constitution Day celebration.
