Gold Price Sheds by Rs1000 to Rs 232,600 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karats of gold went down by Rs 1000 and was available in the market at Rs 232,600 on Friday against Rs 233,600 on the last trading day, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold also declined by Rs 857 to Rs 199,417 from Rs 200,274, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold decreased to Rs 182,800 from Rs 183,585.

Like gold price, per tola silver also witnessed a decrease and went down by Rs 50 to close at Rs 2850, and that of ten grams of silver experienced a decline by Rs 42.87 to Rs 2443.41.

Gold Price in International Prices

Like the domestic market, the price of the precious metal in the international market also witnessed a decline and went down by US$ 12 to $1964 compared to its sale at $1976, the last day.

According to experts, due to the shrinking of other sectors, investors had put their temperament towards the yellow plates, resulting a continuous increase in the price. Few days before the gold price in Pakistan hit a historic high of Rs 2,40,000 per tola.
