Saudi Arabia Gifts 36,500 Copies of Holy Quran to Kazakhstan

RIYADH: Saudi Ambassador to Kazakhstan Faisal Al-Qahtani handed over a present of 36,500 copies of the Holy Quran to Grand Mufti of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurizbay Taganuli on Sunday.

The gift came from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Mufti Nurizbay Taganuli expressed gratitude to King Salman for the priceless gift and the interest of the leadership of Saudi Arabia in the Muslims of Kazakhstan.

Saudi Arabia’s Initiative

This initiative of gifting copies of the Holy Quran from King Salman is part of the programs implemented by the Islamic Affairs Ministry in coordination with the Saudi embassies abroad.

Under the initiative, millions of copies of the Holy Quran in more than seventy-seven languages are distributed to Muslims worldwide who constantly show great admiration for the support from the Saudi leadership.
