JEDDAH: The Police Directorate of Jeddah Governorate in Saudi Arabia on Sunday arrested 5 Ethiopian citizens for attempting to sell hashish, who were immediately referred to the public prosecution.
After the quick action, the security agencies called on the public to report any information concerning drug selling or smuggling by calling on 911 in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern areas.
They said that the residents of the rest of the Kingdom should call on 999 after noting any suspicious activity concerning drug smuggling.

Another Action in Saudi Arabia
Meanwhile, a Border Guards patrol in the Al-Ardah area of the Jizan region foiled an attempt to smuggle 230 kilograms (kg) of khat.
The smugglers were arrested, and the confiscated khat was handed over to the competent authority.
