Pakistani Soldier Martyred in Clash with Terrorists in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: A firefight occurred between Pakistani troops and terrorists in the general area of Ladha, located in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.

The Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists, confronting their location head-on. However, in the midst of the intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir, a brave soldier aged 30 and hailing from district Mansehra, valiantly fought but tragically embraced martyrdom, as stated by ISPR.

Pakistan Army Carries Out Clearance Operation

To ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists in the area, a thorough sanitization process is currently underway, ISPR stated.

The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their determination to eradicate the menace of terrorism, and the sacrifices made by their courageous soldiers only strengthen their resolve, emphasized ISPR.
