LONDON: A British-Pakistani businessman has hailed the 2023-24 fiscal year budget and termed it people-friendly and business-friendly.
Pakistan’s federal budget of Rs 14.6 trillion was presented by federal minister Ishaq Dar last Friday with some incentives for overseas Pakistanis.
While talking to the media in London on Monday, well-known British businessman and real estate developer Zeeshan Shah said that Pakistan’s recent budget was an investment-friendly with some benefits and incentives for overseas Pakistani.
He further said that the budget included some incentives for the first time in the history of Pakistan in the field of IT and software sectors, particularly for those Pakistani investors living in the UK, America and Canada.
Zeshaan Shah expressed that the current budget would pave the way for foreign investment in the coming months and boost investors’ confidence to bring their investment to Pakistan.
