PESHAWAR: At least eight people reportedly sustained injuries when a suicide bomber explosive his suicide vest in the Hayatabad area of Peshawar, the capital city of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, SP Cantt Waqas Rafique said. The explosion took place near a Frontier Corps (FC) vehicle in the Phase 6 area of Hayatabad, causing panic and chaos in the vicinity.
Rescue services, including the renowned emergency response team Rescue 1122, swiftly sprang into action. Ambulances and fire vehicles from Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance.

According to SP Cantt Waqas Rafique, the blast resulted in injuries to at least eight individuals. The wounded were rushed to Hayatabad Medical Complex for medical assistance.
The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible. Security forces have been deployed to secure the area and maintain law and order.
