Israeli Prime Minister’s office also confirmed the trip, the first by an Israeli PM to Ankara since 2008, AFP reported.

The talks will be on Turkish-Palestinian ties and the recent developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as other global matters issues, the statement maintained.

In April, Ankara condemned clashes that erupted in Al-Aqsa Mosque, where Israeli police personnel fought with Palestinians inside Jerusalem’s holy site. President Erdogan had said that Israel had crossed a “red line.”
