Ramallah: Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas has returned to the occupied West Bank today following Israel launched military operations in the Palestinian territory, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
According to Wafa news agency, President Abbas cut short his foreign visit and returned to his homeland to follow up on the latest developments in light of the Israeli aggression on the northern West Bank.
According to media reports, in the West Bank in the early hours of Wednesday, the Israeli army launched a series of coordinated attacks across four cities — Jenin, Tubas, Nablus, and Tulkarem. At least 10 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes and raids in several towns in the north of the occupied West Bank, a spokesman for the Red Crescent said Wednesday.
