Abducted Pakistan Army Officer, Three Relatives Safely Return Home: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Army officer and three his three relatives abducted last Thursday from Dera Ismail Khan, a district of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, returned home safely, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Saturday.

ISPR said in a statement that the safe and unconditional release of Lt Col Khalid Ameer and three of his other relatives has been secured due to the role played by tribal elders and local notables. “All the abducted persons have safely returned home,” ISPR stated.
