ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti have strongly denounced explosion at a Girls’ High School in Mastung area of Balochistan, which resulted in the martyrdom of three kids and a police official, local media reported.
In their separate statements, they have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of kids and a policeman in the mishap. They expressed deep condolence to the bereaved families, and also prayed for granting fortitude to bear this loss, local media reported.
The Acting President has reiterated the commitment to root out terrorism from the country. He added terrorists are the enemies of humanity and entire country stands united to support the security forces and law enforcement agencies to eradicate terrorism.
PM Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, has expressed the resolve to continue war till complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism from the country. He added that the attack on educational institution exposes terrorists’ animosity towards education in the province of Balochistan.
The PM stated that such cowardly actions of terrorists cannot undermine the nation’s morale. Shehbaz Sharif added that such attacks cannot shake the unwavering commitment of the government for promotion of development and education in Balochistan. He added that the whole nation feels proud of its police officials and soldiers for rendering sacrifices for the sake of the nation.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly denounced the explosion and expressed sympathy with bereaved families. The CM also reaffirmed that terrorists will not succeed in their evil designs.
