MUNICH:  Adele has announced some disappointing news to her fans, saying that she will soon be stepping away from her music career for an unlimited period.  Adele is hitting the pause button on her musical career after her Las Vegas residency wraps up in November, leaving fans with much more than a “Hello” to remember her by.

During her Munich finale on Saturday (August 31), the “Rolling in the Deep” singer gave fans a sneak peek into her upcoming hiatus, revealing that after her remaining 10 shows in Vegas, she’ll be MIA for what she describes as an “incredibly long time.” It’s not a breakup—just a break.

The 36-year-old singer, who has been relentlessly touring for nearly three years, confessed to her audience that she’s ready to take a breather and savor the life she has been busy building. With tears in her eyes, Adele shared, “I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I’ve been building and I will miss you terribly.”

Although her Munich performance was meant to be the grand finale, she has still got 10 more dates in Las Vegas to make up for those missed shows from her 2022 illness. Once those are done, fans will have to wait for an indefinite time to see her again.

“I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break,” she promised, as captured in a fan video shared on X (erstwhile Twitter).

Adele, who has called this her longest tour ever, assured fans she will cherish these moments “for eternity.” To mark the occasion, she led a tearful sing-along of “Someone Like You,” leaving fans both uplifted and longing for more. Adele’s residency at Caesars Colosseum in Las Vegas will continue until November 23, but her return to the spotlight remains a tantalizing mystery.
