WASHINGTON: Adin Ross, a prominent internet personality and streamer, has stirred controversy with accusations that Vice President Kamala Harris is paying rappers for campaign endorsements.

Ross made the claims during a recent livestream on the platform Kick, where he also announced an upcoming interview with former President Donald Trump.

During the livestream, Ross, who has openly criticized Harris as the “worst presidential candidate ever to run,” alleged that Harris is using financial incentives to secure support from celebrities. He cited rapper Snot, who had disclosed on X (formerly Twitter) that Harris had reached out to him directly seeking his endorsement.

Ross’s criticism was pointed, referencing other high-profile artists as well. “I have so much love and respect for Quavo as an artist. I really wish I didn’t see what Quavo did. You know, Kamala Harris is DMing rappers. She DMs Snot, Snot posted on Twitter, which I respect Snot for doing,” Ross said.

He further elaborated, “She’s trying to endorse rappers to come and do it. Megan Thee Stallion and Quavo, they probably took a bag to go to the conference and stuff. It’s sad, bro. It’s really, really sad. You know, I wish they didn’t do that.”

The accusations come amid a highly charged political climate as the 2024 US presidential election approaches. Ross’s comments are seen as part of a broader critique of political strategies and celebrity endorsements.

Meanwhile, Ross announced a significant upcoming event on his channel. He will host an interview with former President Donald Trump, scheduled for Monday, August 5, 2024. This will be Trump’s first appearance on Ross’s platform.

During his livestream, Ross expressed high expectations for the interview, stating, “This is gonna be one of the biggest streams ever. I bet $100,000 with the Kick CEO that we will surpass 600,000 concurrent viewers. I believe in this, and I know you guys do too.”
