ISLAMABAD: Former opener Ahmed Shehzad has made a bold claim just ahead of a crucial match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on Sunday during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 saying Pakistan will with the game.

While talking to a local TV channel, Shehzad advised the Pakistan team to play with a fearless attitude while also predicted that the Men in Green will beat India to be played at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York today.

He said Babar Azam must step on the field with a fearless attitude and the entire team should follow him. He said there is pressure on both sides during an India-Pakistan match and it doesn’t matter what happened in the past.

He was hopeful that Pakistan would win against India in a one-sided match.

India and Pakistan have met seven times in T20 World Cups where India won five matches while Pakistan won only one game.
