ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) strives to provide high-quality educational opportunities nationwide in rural and low-literacy areas.

Dr. Nasir Mahmood, Vice Chancellor of AIOU, stated during his address to the Balochistan regional directors conference at AIOU’s Quetta regional campus that they are establishing model study centers and regional campuses. AIOU is making progress

He went on to say that we wish no one should be deprived of education and that AIOU is making progress in its mission to eradicate illiteracy. He directed the regional heads to disseminate information about the university, particularly the free matriculation education program, so that as many people as possible could benefit from it.

Dr. Nasir asked them to visit the province’s flood-affected areas and assess their educational needs. Dr. Malik Tauqir Ahmad Khan, Director General of Regional Services, and all AIOU regional campus directors from Balochistan attended the conference. Malik Tauqir Ahmad Khan informed the VC about the AIOU’s regional offices and model study centers in the province.
