Air Taxi Service Launched in Sindh, Balochistan

KARACHI: An air taxi service has been launched in Sindh and Balochistan, and it is now available for all airports, airfields, and landing strips in both provinces by Sky Wings Aviation.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sky Wings Aviation Imran Aslam said that the air taxi service is initially available in Sindh and Balochistan and would eventually be extended to all airports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab too.

He said that four air taxis were on hand for the service’s start. The initial hourly fee for the service is 95,000 rupees.

Air Taxi Capacity

Imran Aslam said that three passengers at a time would be able to use each of the air taxi service’s aircraft.

The Sky Wings CEO said that they were contacted by people who wanted to fly for enjoyment to get a bird’s-eye view of Karachi and its surroundings or by those who wanted to fly to different locations in Sindh and Balochistan in an emergency.

He said that reservations are now open, and those who want to take a flight above Karachi can book an air taxi from Sky Wings’ website.
