AJK Elections: PTI Wins 829 Seats

Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, Azad Jammu Kashmir Chapter emerged victorious in the recent local AJK elections winning majority of seats in many districts of AJK, unofficial results released by AJK election officials.

Sources from Azad Jammu Kashmir polls told APP here on Friday night that PTI Kashmir won 829 seats out of total 2627 seats in Azad Jammu Kashmir. Independent politicians remained second with 699 seats, PML (N) AJK won 497 seats, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Azad Jammu Kashmir won 459 seats, All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference won 60 seats, Tehreek e Labaik (TLP) AJK won 16 seats. Jammu Kashmir Peoples Party got 31 seats, Jamaat e Islami AJK got 09 seats and Jammiat Ulema e Islam AJK got 05 seats in AJK state.

In Mirpur division, PTI Kashmir won 373 seats out of total 1083 in the election. Similarly, PML (N), PPP, Muslim Conference, TLP and JI won 231, 140, 08, 07 and one seats respectively in the elections in three constituencies of Mirpur, Kotli and Bhimbher in the division a.
