MIRPUR-AJK: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq paid sincere homage to Kashmiri leaders Shaheed Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammed Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone on the anniversary of their martyrdom, observed on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).

In a statement, the AJK premier commended the lifelong dedication and ultimate sacrifices of these Hurriyat leaders, who courageously spearheaded the struggle against Indian occupation in Kashmir.

He denounced the targeted killings of these leaders as part of India’s malicious agenda to destabilize the Kashmiri freedom movement.

Standing in solidarity with the Kashmiri people, the PM reiterated his government’s steadfast backing for the Kashmir cause.

Expressing deep concern over the worsening human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Kashirmi (IIOJK), where the entire Hurriyat leadership remains incarcerated and countless Kashmiri youths have fallen victim to search operations and staged encounters, the AJK premier appealed to the international community to urgently address the plight of the Kashmiri people.
