KARACHI: Pakistani model, television host and actor Ali Safina, showed his deep concern over a public trend of criticising everyone or everything in society. ‘Pakistan is our country and we must not speak ill of it,’ he said in a recent podcast.
Ali Safina made an appearance in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast “Excuse Me” where he expressed his love for Pakistan, saying he cannot speak ill of his motherland.
Replying to Butt’s question, “What will he never do in his life”, Safina answered, “I will never ever speak against Pakistan”. “Unfortunately, nowadays it has become a trend to talk against the country, politics, cricketers, artists, come on, give us a break, why everyone is judging others,” continued Safina. “We are deteriorating as humans. Why are our people against everything, like, we launched of our first lunar satellite, people are even criticizing it, I will not do these things.”
Ali Safina kick-started his career by hosting music channels but he has now successfully switched to full-time acting. His noteworthy performances in TV serials include Takkay ki Ayegi Baraat, Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Soteli Mamta, Kuch Ankahi, Manjali, Ishq Ibadat and Kesi Teri Khudgarzi. He is married to Pakistani actress and model, Hira Tareen, and they have an adorable daughter together, Mahgul Ali Safina.
