LONDON: Renowned English-Albanian singer and songwriter Dua Lipa and other Bollywood celebrities have voiced support for ‘All Eyes on Rafah’, a campaign to end Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and others show support for Palestine.

Alia Bhatt and Kareena shared messages on Instagram calling for peace and condemning the Israeli violence in Gaza.

Madhuri Dixit, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Triptii Dimri, Sania Mirza, Samantha Prabhu and Swara Bhasker also expressed support for Palestine.

Dua Lipa in her Instagram post said: Burning children alive can never be justified.

She said the whole world is mobilizing to stop Israel from carrying out genocide asking her fans to show their solidarity with Gaza.

At least 45 Palestinian civilians were killed and others were wounded, mostly children and women, in the Israeli attack on the camps of displaced people northwest of the city of Rafah on May 26.

The attack triggered global outrage against Israel, prompting many individuals to show their disapproval on social media.

From Tuesday morning, the phrase ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ flooded the social media platform Instagram in support of Palestinians in Gaza.

‘All eyes on Rafah’ is an artificial intelligence (AI) generated image highlighting the situation in Rafah.

The image shows a camp with rows of tents, lighter-colored tents and snowy peaks spelled “All eyes on Rafah”.

The phrase came from a statement by Rik Peeperkorn, director of the World Health Organisation’s Office of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. “All eyes are on Rafah,” he stated in February after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered an evacuation plan for Rafah.

Since the image was first uploaded on Tuesday, it has been shared by more than 40 million users on Instagram.
