RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Monday recovered 109 kg of drugs and arrested 12 accused during 11 operations countrywide. According to the spokesperson of ANF Headquarters, 1 kg of Ice was found from the luggage of a passenger, who was leaving for Qatar at Islamabad Airport.
As per the details, two passengers on two separate flights from Lahore Airport to Qatar had 663 grams and 352 grams with them. While 84 kg of opium was also recovered near the M-2 Motorway in Lahore and 592 grams of heroin was discovered from the possession of a passenger traveling to Doha. 15 kilograms of heroin was recovered near Swabi Interchange.
ANF Arrests 12 Suspects Across Pakistan
Furthermore, 1.7 kg heroin and 130 grams Ice were found in the possession of an accused arrested in Orangi Town Karachi. Two kilo gram hashish from an accused netted in the Tando Thoro area in Hyderabad. On Sukkur Road, 1 kg Ice and 952 grams opium were recovered from two suspects.
The spokesman further said that two accused were arrested from the Scheme-3 Chaklala in Rawalpindi with 1 kg hashish, whereas, two more were arrested from Jhelum with 1 kg hashish.
