ANF Conducts Ten Operations Across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has carried out ten operations across Pakistan and managed to recover 384 kg of drugs and arrested around ten accused, said an ANF spokesperson on Tuesday.

Authorities have also recovered 280 grams of Ice and 466 grams of hashish from two individuals bound for Doha and Bahrain during two separate operations at Karachi Airport. Furthermore, 280 kg of Ice was discovered in a container in Karachi, leading to the arrest of two suspects. Additionally, 36 kg of hashish was found on a suspect apprehended near Sultanabad in Karachi.

Near M-1 Islamabad, authorities recovered 37 kg of hashish and 700 grams of Ice from two suspects in separate operations. Another operation near RCD Road Hub resulted in the seizure of 10.8 kg of hashish. In Haripur, a suspect was arrested with 9.6 kg of hashish.

It added that 6 kg of hashish was confiscated from a suspect apprehended at the South Agriculture Center in Punjab. In the tenth operation, 3.6 kg of hashish was recovered from a suspect detained near Kashmir Road in Faisalabad.

The arrested people have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are ongoing.
