ISLAMABAD: During the counter-narcotics operations across the country, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized over 565 hashish and arrested five drug-peddlers.
The Anti-Narcotic Force seized 546 kg of hashish from the truck’s floor in the secret boxes near DI Khan Toll Plaza, according to a spokesperson, and arrested one drug peddler.
ANF’s recoveries
Another operation in Mansehra resulted in the arrest of a drug-peddler and the seizure of over 2 kg of hashish. The Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) recovered over 4 kg of hashish and arrested two drug-peddlers near Etihad Town in Karachi during the operation. A woman was arrested with over 2 kg of Hashish. She was flying from Islamabad International Airport to Dubai on Flight No. ER 701.
The ANF seized over 9 kg of hashish from a car and arrested a drug smuggler while conducting operations near Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza. While operating in the Islamabad F-8/1 area, the force recovered over 2 kg of hashish from an accused resident of Abbottabad. All of the arrested suspects have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
