RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting five operations nationwide, managed to recover 56kgs of drugs and apprehended four suspects including a woman.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesperson, 126 heroin-filled capsules were found in the stomach of a passenger, who was leaving for Dubai on flight number PK-183, at Bacha Khan International Airport.
27.5 kg hashish was recovered in the Zakhakhel area of Khyber while 25 kg hashish was recovered from the Dalbandin area.
In the fourth operation, 2 kg of heroin and 500 grams of Ice drug were confiscated from two suspects in a passenger bus near Islamabad Motorway.
The fifth operation resulted in the recovery of 700 grams of Ice from an individual near the bus stand in Mianwali.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested individuals and further investigations are ongoing. —APP
