Anwar Vows to Turn Malaysia into Great Economic Power

GEORGE TOWN: Prime Minister of Malaysia’s Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has vowed to turn his nation into a great economic power in the coming six years.

During his speech at the Mega Madani Ceramah in Pekan Sungai Ara, the PM noted that the economy of Malaysia is improving and the political stability in the country has drawn the interest of foreign investors to invest in the country.

Musk willing to make huge investment in Malaysia

Datuk Seri Anwar cited that Tesla Inc chief executive officer Elon Musk has also expressed his willingness to hold a private meeting with him and committed to open his company headquarters in Cyberjaya this year.

The Malaysian PM went on to say said that the interest of Musk in the Malaysian economy is a great honor to the country.

He added that this also shows the confidence of international investors in the Malaysian government’s economic policies and its transparent leadership.

Datuk Seri Anwar said it is his dream and ambition to make Malaysia a great economy and a great country.

The PM said the theft of national assets would not be tolerated to make Malaysia an exemplary state.

He called upon the voters to cast their votes on polling day on August 12 and to elect a political party that could protect the interest of the Malaysian people.

Voters in Selangor, Kedah, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Negeri Sembilan are set to cast their votes on August 12, to select their new state governments on August 12.
