KARACHI: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) Chapter on Monday strongly condemned the Indian atrocities being inflicted on Kashmiris by occupation forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The views were expressed during a meeting between the delegation of APHC AJK Chapter led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab in Karachi on Monday.

APHC Convener Safi invited Murtaza Wahab to participate in the Kashmir rally against Indian atrocities, saying that India has turned Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir into the biggest jail in the world where Kashmiris are being killed, tortured and maimed just for demanding the inalienable right of self-determination.

He said that Indian forces are involved in the genocide of Kashmiris and it seems as if India is trying to kill innocent Kashmiris as well. He pointed out that a license to kill has been given to occupied forces in IIOJK.

He said that whenever Kashmiris try to raise their voice to claim their rights, their voice is being silenced through oppression. He lamented that despite the boundaries that have been crossed the voices of the oppressed Kashmiris are not reaching the ears of the United Nations and human rights organizations.

It is pertinent to mention that Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and elsewhere in the world observed the 8th martyrdom anniversary of young freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani on Monday with the renewed pledge to continue the mission of martyrs.
