ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell, organized a protest demonstration outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad to mark India’s Republic Day as a ‘Black Day.’
The protest, attended by APHC-AJK office-holders and leaders of various political parties in Azad Kashmir, was led by APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar. Participants held black flags, banners, and placards with slogans against India and in favor of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation.

APHC-AJK leaders and other speakers addressed the rally, expressing concerns about Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory. They emphasized that India has no right to celebrate Republic Day in Jammu and Kashmir, as it occupies the region against the will of the Kashmiri people.
The speakers condemned India’s attempts to change the demography of the occupied territory and called on the international community to play a role in resolving the Kashmir dispute for lasting peace in South Asia.
