ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has condemned the unyielding repression and political injustices inflicted by New Delhi on Kashmiri people over the past seven decades.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement from Srinagar, highlighted the relentless struggle of Kashmiris for their fundamental right to self-determination, as guaranteed by the United Nations.

Despite facing severe Indian atrocities, Kashmiris have steadfastly pursued their quest for freedom, making historic sacrifices to liberate their homeland from Indian subjugation.

Minhas said that Indian oppression has not dampened the spirit of Kashmiri freedom fighters, who remain resolute in achieving their rightful aspirations. He criticized India’s uncompromising stance and rigid approach as major impediments to peacefully resolving the Kashmir conflict. Minhas urged India to abandon its colonial mindset, adhere to international norms, and end its illegal occupation of IIOJK.

The APHC spokesperson stressed that lasting peace in the region hinges upon the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions.

He called on the international community to take cognizance of the egregious human rights violations perpetrated by Indian forces in IIOJK and exert pressure on India to address Kashmiri aspirations.

Meanwhile, APHC leaders Ghulam Nabi War and Abdul Samad Inqilabi extended warm greetings to the people and government of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, celebrated on March 23. They emphasized the enduring bond between Kashmiris and Pakistanis, stating that no external force can sever their deep-rooted connection.
