ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader and Vice Chairman Jammu Kashmir National Front Altaf Hussain Wani, while extending his heartfelt felicitations and good wishes to the government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of defense day, has said that the emergent dynamics in the South Asian region and security threats to Pakistan have made it even more significant that the people and political leadership of Pakistan remained vigilant and prepared to foil the nefarious designs of the hostile forces who were hell-bent on destabilizing Pakistan.
In his statement issued on the occasion of defense day of Pakistan on Wednesday, the JKNF leader said that it was high time that the Pakistani nation showed the same spirit of national unity it had demonstrated to foil India’s naked aggression in the 1965 war.
Referring to the multiple challenges Pakistan has been facing internally and externally, Wani said that a hybrid war imposed on Pakistan by all adversaries needs national unity to defeat them.
Lauding the Pakistani army for its professional capabilities and steadfast commitment to meet the daunting challenges faced by the country, he said the armed forces of Pakistan were fully capable of fighting these challenges.
Citing the fast-changing regional and global dynamics, Wani said the emergent dynamics in South Asia and security challenges to Pakistan have made it even more important that the Pakistani nation and leadership across the political spectrum should remain vigilant and prepared to foil the conspiracies being hatched by the hostile forces who were hell-bent on destabilizing Pakistan.
Wani made a passionate appeal to the people, in particular the Pakistani leadership, urging them to remain vigilant against the enemy forces who were trying to create trouble and by sowing the seeds of discord in the country.
Wani Lauds Pakistan’s Vital Role in Kashmiris’ Struggle
Underlining Pakistan’s vital role in the Kashmiris’ struggle for the right to self-determination, he said that a strong and prosperous Pakistan would guarantee the independence of Kashmir. While thanking the public and the government of Pakistan for their support of the Kashmir cause, Wani said the people of Jammu and Kashmir will stand with the people of Pakistan.
