SRINAGAR: In recent days, leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) have come forward to denounce the escalating series of raids, crackdowns, and arrests carried out by Indian security forces throughout Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Prominent figures within the APHC, including Saleem Zargar, Yasmeen Raja, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, and Narendar Singh Khalsa, have issued individual statements decrying the house raids and the detention of young individuals by Indian personnel. These acts are seen as a manifestation of intense political retribution aimed at punishing the Kashmiri people for their resistance against the unlawful occupation of their homeland.

Over the past few days, Indian law enforcement and military personnel have conducted numerous house raids across the occupied territory, leading to the apprehension of several young residents. The APHC leaders have expressed deep alarm over the widespread victimization of ordinary citizens at the hands of Indian forces, as well as operatives from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and State Investigation Agency (SIA). The cordon and search operations, as well as the house raids, have unfolded in various regions, including Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Bandipora, Islamabad, Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar, and others.

In the face of these actions, the APHC leaders are resolute in their assertion that the oppressive tactics employed by Indian forces will not compel the Kashmiri populace to capitulate. On the contrary, they emphasize their determination to persist in their pursuit of freedom until it culminates in a just resolution. The APHC leaders are united in their call for the immediate release of all Kashmiri political prisoners who are being unlawfully detained in various prisons within India and the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Moreover, the APHC leaders are seeking international intervention to address the grave human rights predicament within the occupied territory. They have appealed to several global entities, including the UN Human Rights Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Amnesty International, and Human Rights Watch, urging them to dispatch their investigative teams to assess the prevailing situation. This move is aimed at highlighting the pressing need for the international community to acknowledge the rights abuses and injustices faced by the Kashmiri people.
