Arab Leaders to Attend China-Arab Forum in China

BEIJING: Chinese Foreign Ministry has said that four Arab leaders will visit Beijing to attend China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.

In a statement, China’s Foreign Ministry said that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Tunisian President Kais Saied will attend the opening ceremony of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. They will arrive in Beijing from Tuesday and stay until Saturday, the statement further said.

Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the forum will be held on Thursday which will also be attended by China’s President Xi Jinping. It added that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Mauritanian FM Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk will co-chair the conference.

According to the Ministry, Foreign Ministers or representatives of the Arab nations and secretary-general of the League of Arab will take part in the conference.
